Wye Valley

Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Wye Valley covers an area from Chepstow in the south to Hereford in the north and includes the Forest of Dean River Wye and the beautiful towns of Ross-on-Wye and Ludlow.

A largely undiscovered area the Wye Valley offers unspoilt countryside with masses of wildlife and lovely country walks and there are a multitude of attractions from old castles, spectacular gorges and many high quality restaurants and Inns.

Places well worth a visit include: Chepstow Castle, Goodrich Castle, Tintern Abbey, the gorge at Symonds Yat and the Royal Forest of Dean.
